A work colleague of talented amateur artist John McClelland approached Web World Designs Liverpool with an idea for a 1 page website, or splash page, as a surprise birthday gift.

An appropriate .co.uk domain name was purchased and hosting organised by Web World Designs.

Using a business card as the base for the 1 page website design, a web page was produced with a view to it being used as online advertising and promotion of personalised children's canvas paintings by Johnny McCanvas.
